JV Tree Services are proud to boast 35 years of trade in October 2018. The business was family run when it was set up in 1983 by the current owner Julian Hinam and his dad Vernon Hinam. In the present day, Julian’s two sons Jonathan and Christopher run the business by his side.

Coed Cymru Woodland Competition Winners – Woodland Operators / Best Premier Wood
JV Tree Services was chosen as the overall winner of the Coed Cymru Woodland Competition 2014 of Woodland Operators / Best Premier Wood in the Vale of Glamorgan.
This was for a recent and on going woodland programme carrying out a specialist thinning operation at Atlantic college, St Donats.

In 2013 JV Tree Services came 3rd in the Coed Cymru Woodland Competition of Woodland Operators / Best Premier Wood in the Vale of Glamorgan at the Vale Show (yellow badge) and for overall winner of ‘Best Managed Woodland, ‘Coed Arthur Woodland’ In 2011 (wooden bowl and cup).
